How to Become a Member
As a non-profit, we have proudly provided educational, cultural, and historical activities, free of charge, to our Community for the past 22 years.
Our community activities are partially funded by grants, but we depend on our memberships to help defray increasing costs of operation and activities. For the remainder of 2020, there will be a few Friday night programs, in collaboration with the Women’s Rights National Historical Park: these programs consist of music, speakers and performers who help to tell the history of Seneca Falls. We will hold two summer camps in collaboration with the Seneca Falls Historical Society, thus providing our youngsters with a healthy and educational way to spend part of the summer. In addition, we plan three of our popular summer concerts at People’s Park beginning in July. Of course, the Museum participates in Canal Days, Convention Days, and It’s a Wonderful Life weekend. We hold the gingerbread contest each year during It’s a Wonderful Life weekend, sponsored by local vendors, with several decorating workshops for the children. In 2020, we are providing new exhibits celebrating the 100 years of women’s right to vote.
Membership rates are modest, and bring with them 20% discount for items in our gift shop, a quarterly e-newsletter, paid event discounts, member-only events, and advance notice of events. More importantly, your membership supports an important community resource!
