Think Green: How To Make Your Garden Grow

Adult/Family Program

Demonstrations and learn how to:

5:30 – 6:00 pm Building a terrarium –

Watch how to make a terrarium which is a miniature garden grown inside a covered glass or plastic container.

6:15 – 6:45 pm Kitchen Scrap Gardening –

Learn how to grow plants from items you normally would throw in your compost bucket. It is a kick to grown new plants from old plant parts.

7:00 – 7:30 pm Seed balls –

Learn about the ancient art of making seed balls. Watch how a seed ball is made. A seed ball a small bundle of seeds, clay and soil (or compost).

Advanced registration is required. You may sign up for one, two or all three demonstrations.
